Two digital savvy jewelry and accessory designers, a London-based brand “WonderLuk” and New York based fashion designer “Francis Bitonti” launched the latest collaboration which lend a hand of artificial intelligent’s algorithm to auto generate 30 different unique designs. The brand claimed each design will be manufactured only once.
Customers simply visit Wonderluk website and generate up to 30 design variations with a click of a button.
“Anyone can now join the process of creation from the product’s inception. Fashion cannot be more individual than this,” said Roberta Lucca, Co-founder of WonderLuk.
The collection offers a ring, bracelet, pendant and ear pieces. All items inspired by geometrical design pattern and will be available for 3D-printed on demand in sterling silver or 18k gold-plated brass or even 18k solid gold. This highly unique and customizable collection is a good glimpse for what might be coming in the future of fashion.
“My design process is a collaboration with artificial intelligence. Rather than static things, I design systems and algorithms that shape materials. My collection for WonderLuk is the perfect example how technology can generate objects of beauty that fashionable women actually want to wear. We’re entering a new era of design and manufacturing and it takes visionary brands to take fashion to the next level.” Francis Bitonti, explains.
This year so far, the 3D printing technology is more influential in fashion realm. Before this creation, one fashion design student at Shenkarr entirely 3D printed her graduation project. We are so excited to see what’s next.
